Philadelphia A's beat NY Yankees 8-2 at Shibe Park.

Attendance: 23 (no that's not a typo)

I was at the last home game of the A's in 1979, at the Oakland Coliseum. Attendance was under 900 in a stadium which holds 50,000. In 1955 the NY Yankees took on the NY Giants in the Polo Grounds during the All-Star break. The game was to benefit the Red Cross. The Giants were World Champs the previous year. The Yankees were in the midst of their era of repeated World Series appearances under Casey Stengel. I attended the game. Total paid attendance was 153!

September 27, 1881 -- in a National League game played in a driving rainstorm, the visiting Chicago White Stockings defeated the home Troy Trojans, 10-8, before an official paid attendance "crowd" of 12.

The Trojans played their home games at Haymakers' Grounds (named after the old National Association team that played there, 1871-72) that season.

Dodger video games are continuously exciting by using fact the appropriate attendance will often be rather intense and between eighty 5 and one hundred% of the stadium is paid for. yet between the 1st and 0.33 innings, the stadium in lots of circumstances seems somewhat 0.5 finished...it fills up by potential of the fourth and depending on how the sport is going, those followers go away interior the seventh each so often. I pay attention they have horrific site visitors and parking subjects there.

Yeah maybe the Expo's or the Marlins, but I am sure there is something that is way older that has the worst record.
