I have a girlfriend, well kind of. I've been dating her for about a year and now we arent doing that great. While dating her I cheated on her with a guy that i met on a total random occasion. I have had it rough with my parents and family as well, I dont know if something mentally is wrong with me, or if i am what i am.

First up, there is nothing wrong with you mentally and don't let anyone else tell you different, secondly, yes, you are what you are which ever way it is, you may just be going through a stage of confusion and frustration, it is a hard battle but you and you alone can find the answer to this within your self. Don't rush your decision and thought processes, just take your time and think things through carefully. You will get a few stupid answers and degraders to your question, but look deep within yourself and you will find the answer that you want.

well i hear that some people become gay because they've had a "traumatic" sexual experience. maybe you weren't totally comfortable with your relationship with your girlfriend or not comfortable with sharing your sexuality with her. perhaps, you didn't enjoy the physical relationship, but it's been a year. i think you used to or still love this girl so much that you guys "not doing so great" has turned you off to females completely. she's not the only girl in the world for you; if she is then you'd do anything to make it work. if it's for these reasons, then i think your girlfriend is your real problem and maybe you should give females another try.

Hey dude. were the same situation here. I'm a guy, i have girlfriends in the past, but then, i met this guy, and i have fallen in love with him.
I also don't know whats wrong with me. And i think i am a bisexual or something.. but i dont want to be called GAY!thats disgusting.

You're gay. As Seinfeld says, "not that there's anything wrong with that". But you are.
Most bisexual people I've known are more curious or flirting than actual participants in the act itself. If you were bisexual, there would be some flirting with the idea before the act, for a long time, like years and years.

Maybe the question is why aren't you and your gf doing well? Was it because of the cheating or was that just and excuse for you to cheat on her.
There is nothing mentally wrong with you and I'm not saying if you are gay, straight or bisexual. That's not for me to decide.

there may be something morally wrong with you if u feel no guilt over cheating on ur gf, but just because your gay doesn't mean there's something wrong with u mentally

Well if you want to find out, then you should go see what you are comfortable with, that way you know what you like, and hopefully once you find what that is, deciding if you are gay or not should be simpler. Good luck.
