so the other day out of curiousity I applied to a acting website.
.Im a lil confused because Ive never done any acting. but im totally up for it. I recently got another gig as a brother of a gang member. for a short independent film that will be shooting this coming august.
my question is
this is my first time doing this. and its something id love to do.
what was your first time like ?
they also send me the following email, what should I wear to the audition. and what exactly is it their looking for from your point of view.
Looking for a teenage Latino actor between the ages of 17-20. We are shooting a webseries/short film entitled Love, Pop, & Trash, about kids who hang out at the mall. Actor is an employee at retail clothing store (think Gap or Express). Effeminate, coifed, confident
and would love for you come and audition, we think you have what we are looking for.

What acting website? Please just be careful, especially if they ask you for money. Also, take someone with you, do not go alone. If at anytime you feel uncomfortable, leave.
The role aounds like a lot of fun :-) Just go and be gay! He sounds like he might be very well put together, a bit snobby (maybe not, take a cue from your dialogue!) but definitely gay, just not over the top.

luckily I've had to audition in middle school which i still do! if i can (the most self conscientious person ever) u can too. but yeah i was a nervous wreck. lol but i think that it's kind of fun to have that nervousness cause it's so funny to think about it later when u've got the part. and I've auditioned for 8 plays this year been nervous about all of them and have gotten into all of them. trust me u'll do fine. just when u audition don't be really loud or obnoxious be organized and at least pretend to be calm lol. and even if u don't get the part it's a cool experience either way good luck!

i dont have any experience but i think its a good thing to kind of be nervous but just be ready and happy your startin =)
