1. Looks like it because he nodded at Harry and Ron at Platform 9 3/4. Though I think they would still not have been bossom friends.

2. Remember that Godric Gryffindor, along with Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin were considered the greatest wizards and witches of the age. Godric would have put advanced enchantments on the Sword that go way beyond goblins' idea of possession and ownership, or the logic of mere physical possession. So it follows that with the Sword, it would have been like when Harry was able to pull it out of the Sorting Hat in the Chamber of Secrets, the Sword was hung at Dumbledore's Office yet he was still able to get it.

3. I would think that it would not have been erased even if Voldemort died. It would not burn anymore. Remember Voldemort was the ultimate Dark Arts master, his mark would have been like Permanent Sticking Charm.

4. Burned it most likely and throw away the ashes. They would not have wanted some skilled loyal Death Eater performing some dark magic on the remains, or the likes of Mundungus Fletcher or some other opportunists raking in money out of it.

5. It was just the brightness of the sun, I would think. Remember they were in the Great Hall where the ceiling was enchanted to look like the sky outside. It was merely for poetic touch I'd guess. It was not the reason why the curse was deflected. The reason the killing curse rebounded was because the real master of the Elder Wand was Harry and not Voldemort. And the Elder Wand would not kill its own master.

6. Dumbledore had this penchant for not keeping all his secrets under one basket as he himself told Snape. Besides, finding and destroying horcruxes was a huge task. Given that 3 of them was tasked to do it, and along the way there developed some quarrels even making Ron leave Hermione and Harry. Can you imagine if more than 3 were looking for it?

7. His ultimate dream was to be an Auror ever since he learned of it. According to JKR, Ron and Harry became Aurors and they revolutionized the Ministry. She also added that Harry was sometimes invited for talks on the Dark Arts at Hogwarts. (See interview with JKR at www.msn.com)

8. See answer to No. 7. Hermione went to work at the Department of Magical Enforcement despite her retort to Scrimgeor that she has no plans to study wizarding law.

1. Not necessarily. They're just more civil to each other now.
2. Neville got the sword the same way Harry did in CoS - through his bravery he proved he was a true Gryffindor.
3. The Dark Mark probably faded, but I doubt it every went completely away.
4. Probably spit on them...hahaha...I would have.
5. I don't remember that part (Guess I have to read it again)
6. The D.A. were mostly underage wizards and the Order was trying to protect Harry...they (the Order) hardly had time to run all over the coutnry.
7. Harry is working at the Ministry of Magic with Ron & Hermione(JKR said this in an interview)
8. He's head of the auror department along with Ron. And the trio have completely changed the way things are handled there. (Also in the interview.)

1) Yeah, Draco does turn over a new leaf. His whole family stays out of the fight so Harry just lets them be

2) The sword came out of the Sorting Hat that Voldemort had summoned. It was property of Hogwarts, so it would always come out of the hat if someone needed it... and Neville definitely needed help.

3) I think it's still there, but like badly deformed. They all have ugly tattoos that they have to deal with for life. I think the new Ministry should round them up, personally...

4) I think they would have left the choice up to Harry on what to do with the remains. I think he buried him in the same graveyard as his muggle relatives.

5) The red shield thing? Well... Harry did "expelliarmous" (sp) and got the Elder Wand. Voldemort's spell would have never worked against him because Harry was the real owner. And plus, Harry already had put a shield up between them when they had first began talking, so I don't know if that counts for anything...

6) I think it's something like character-building. Harry had to learn how to think on his own, and do things with people who you only had the deepest trust in. If he had mounds of help, the lesson wouldn't have been as significant.

7) I think Harry would definitely be an Auror. Hogwarts just doesn't seem right for him, now that he's defeated Voldemort and has a better education. The Ministry, now reformed, probably would put him as the top Auror, too.

8) Auror! Of course.. hehe... I want to know what Ron and Hermione and Ginny and Luna... everyone else... hehe what they're doing. Darn you JK...

1. No, not really, I mean, he was never really evil in the first place, maybe he was a little nicer after that, but he was probably about the same as he was in books 1-5.
2. It came out of the Sorting Hat because he was a true Gryffindor (like what happened to Harry in Chamber of Secrets)
3. They probably faded away, because if you recall Karkaroff (in Goblet of Fire) was freaking out that the mark was coming back, so presumably it had faded after Voldemort lost power.
4. Hmm, I don't know, burned them? Buried them?
5. Not entirely sure what you're talking about here. Voldemort's curse didn't work because he wasn't the true master of the Elder Wand, Harry was, and so it couldn't attack him. So Harry's curse hit him, and his own backfired.
6. Well, it talked about how Dumbledore was big on keeping secrets, also, I think he kind of wanted to keep a low profile on that front so that Voldemort wouldn't realize what they were doing until it was too late. You know how he was protecting Nagini after he found out they were destroying Horcruxes, and how he attacked Hogwarts? Probably wanted to delay that kind of a reaction.
7. I don't know, because he was never that great at anything besides Defense Against the Dark Arts, and maybe he didn't want to be a teacher? Just because he loved it doesn't mean he wants to spend the rest of his life there.
8. Auror?

1) No. There's a cease-fire between them but they will never like each other.
2) Same way Harry got it in the first place - magic!
3) I think it would fade.
4) Burned, I hope
5) a. Harry had the wand that couldn't be beaten b) Harry had the protection of his own sacrifice and could not be killed by Voldemort.
6) a. it would put them in danger b. it would likely tip off the death eaters what was up. Remember Riddle didn't figure out the horcruxes were being destroyed until the end.
7) He always dreamed of being an Auror, he never wanted to be anything else. (book 5) (I wanted him to be DADA teacher, but oh well)
8) Head Auror, according to Rowling

1.Its never stated but i have a feeling draco is a nice guy now.
2.Neville got the sword as he is a true griffindor, just like how Harry can pull it out of the sorting hat while fighting the Basilisk.
3.The dark mark may fade over time, unless one of the death eaters want to activate it again.
4.Yeah...work of the elderwand, besides harry have all 3 of the deathly hallow ,so he can't die.
5.The DA are nice ppl they may just give him a burial or something..
6.I think besides the Horcrux theres also the deathly hallow that dumbledore would want harry to know about. No point killing Voldermot if they have not manage to destroy all the horcrux first.
7/8.I read somewhere that jk Rowling said Harry and ron is now an Auror, hermione also works for the ministry.

1. yes, but not really... i'm sure he's basically the same; selfish, arrogant snob
2. my theory is the goblin was lying... the sword belonged to godric gryffindor all along and when the goblin perished it returned, by way of the sorting hat (also a relic of gryffindor's)
3. probably faded, just as it had the first time he was defeated
4. funeral pyre (burned it)
5. the avada kedavra spell came from the elder wand but because the elder wand would not kill it's own master (harry) it basically bounced off the expelliarmus spell of harry's... both went towards voldemort and found their mark
6. it was harry's quest... it taught him things, and it kept him on the move and in hiding. perhaps also, if too many people knew about the mission, voldemort would find out earlier.
7. j.k. suggests harry makes guest appearences there, to give lessons in Defense against the dark arts .
8. with the Ministry, in Muggle relations

-I think he just becomes a lot more humble-not necessarily friends with Harry and them T_T though it woulda have been a nice change...
-good question? I think the goblin returned it to the sorting hat
-It probably just stayed there as a reminder of Voldy
-Harry probably buried it next to Tom's father
-The Elder Wand did it
-He proabably knew that Harry could just do it with Ron and Hermione. nuf said.
-yea, but he doesn't have to work there-does he? besides, other than teaching them how to ride a broomstick, his abilities would be put to use more in the world
-He bcame an Auror most likely, then settled with his family, he had lots of gold already, famous, maybe he got gifts for killding Voldemort? you never know:D
