Please don't do that to me. Once I am gone, deal with it. I would have lived my life and let it be.
As to my own desire, I don't understand why someone would torment themselves in that way. The world is a mixture of many things, going through everything again doesn't change what happened in the first life.

If you mean having a second chance at this life, no. I would stick with the life that I have lived and that's it. Sure, I've made mistakes and wish that I had done somethings better, but what if I hadn't gone through that experience? Would I really be better today? Could I ever be better than who I will be right before I die? I am working my hardest to make life worth living. If you mean like Heaven, of course I would take it! That is where I have been working towards going my whole life!

This question raises many brows.
You already do get a 2nd after death, but not to re-live the first one after death.
On this second, -- not everyone. Not few know differently.
On your third, this is a possibility, yes, but not by means of any invention as likened to a Frankenstein or some other macabre device.

Good question. I think I would choose to stay wherever I was, even if it was ultimately just plain dead, than re-live another life. Life is a fragile thing and that fragility gives it meaning. If we can be born over and over repeatedly, it would wear thin and not be worthwhile.
Here's another thought - If we were capable of re-birth, who would hold that power in their hands? Wouldn't that automatically make us ultimately subservient to another person or institution? The value of life to the person in need of the service would be extremely high, while the value of that life to the institution doing the process would be pretty low. They would be extremely demanding on the new life and make it not worth living.

Maybe we will live after this life only we can't comprehend that beyond our current understanding. Don't all of you goof balls start calling it heaven. What I mean is maybe we go from level to level and we are now in a level that is real right now. In the next level we won't recall this life at all because it isn't necessary for the next level. I don't believe the soul ever dies so it must go somewhere.

~I'm not sure. I'd have to live the second life for to know whether or not I wanted to relive it. As to the invention of the future to which you refer, does the stiff get a vote in the process?

We are all promised a chance of a second eternal life after death. It's already there waiting for us. Refusing to take it is about how we're dealing with our life right now. If we make good, then that second life is our reward. If we do bad, then we've just lost that chance.

The spirit never dies. It can't because it belongs to God and he can't die so after an earthly death, we will live on in a spiritual form.
If you mean we were given a second life in an earthly body then I doubt it because once you get to heaven, you will not want to come back here.

I am getting a second life. I will be a citizen of Heaven. I think science may be able to re-animate, but the Bible clearly states we have but one death, so my opinion is to hope researchers work on ways to keep us living better.

i believe the body dies but the spirit lives.... so the second life is a given. i haven't heard about the notion of bringing the dead back to life, but i wouldn't have thought of the whole concept of cloning either.... but i don't think either one is the best way to use good brain power and money.
