They advocate violence against law abiding americans, they glorify terrorists who have killed americans with bombs and by assassination, they're structured and funded like a guerrilla/paramilitary organization, and they look forward to the day the government is overthrown and their radical views become law.

By all measures I have read they qualify as a terrorist organization. So what's the problem? Why isn't homeland security or the FBI or the CIA shutting them down under the Patriot Act?
Or is the problem hypocrisy...because they're too close to the hearts of the GOP base?

Oh, The Army of God is another arm of the Rapture Rights underground that supports the right wing fundamentalist agendas. These terrorists have planned and are planning more atrocities in the name of some sky fairy based on a religious theme and theocratic nonsense. When the liberal political administration comes into power this next election they should beware and take note that this gang of thugs will become more active. The candidates may also choose to be cautious as this group might afford them violence if the opportunity arises. Hand in hand they can march down the street with the present administration singing "Onward Christian Soldiers" while trampling the constitution under their conservative jackboot heels.

The FBI and CIA are too busy spying and infiltrating senior citizen peace groups and other peace groups that are Quaker-linked in Boston, in Florida and in California to be worried about home grown terrorists that they obviously side with. You know the peace groups, the kind of people who wouldn't even hurt a butterfly let alone try to blow someone else up.

Sweetie, that is NOT the GOP base. You are waaaaaaaaay off base on that one. Just for you leftist-leaning, granola-eating, greenie libs out there I'll reiterate the base of the GOP for you.
We are in fly over country. We eat beans and we eat cornbread and we use words like "y'all" and "reckon". We think that 'live and let live is' a great motto so stop telling us what to do and for goodness sake get your grubby hands off our paychecks. We get up and go to work everyday, and we pay our bills. We think you should, too. We believe in less gov't, not more. We're compassionate and we believe in charity -- we just don't like the gov't telling us we have to give money away, simply on principle. We believe in God and country.
