unless the sisters all have different fathers, and each have a half brother, there would be 12 children together.
but if they have the same mother and father, then there are 7 children
and for the second- if mary's father has 5 kids, it's obvius that mary is the 5th kid herself. it's a trick to get you to go by the vowels. it is not NUNU
