Hi. I would really appreciate it if somebody could please help me with my homework or else I get a big fat zero. The teacher wouldn't explain it to me and he told me to figure it out on my own and left. What a jerk. But anyway, whoever gives thorough step-by-step instructions in the easiest way will earn Best Answer by me. Thank you ahead of time! Oh and I don't know what I am suppose to write for the square root symbol. So I will just put / meaning square root. Like /4 would be the square root of 4. There are about 40 problems in my assignment so don't think that the following problems are just so you can do my homework for me hehe. I just picked out the ones that would probably be the hardest.

Simplify each expression:
1) /50 over 9
2) -2/10 times /8
3) 2/126 over /14
4) -/189
5) 4/6 + 3/2 over /6
6) 3 + 2/7 over /7

7) Adding/Subtracting: /8 - 15/2
8) /12 + 7/27
9) -3/2 + /18

LOOK!! Look at the picture...

This will probably be a lot easier to use to help me. I only have to do the even numbers:

PS-
That picture is only the first page of them but I'm sure you get the idea.

Usually square root is denoted sqrt.

I'll do a couple for you, then you can figure out the rest.

sqrt(50)/9=(sqrt(25 x 2))/9
=sqrt(25)sqrt(2)/9=5sqrt(2)/9

2sqrt(126)/sqrt(14)
=2sqrt(14 x 9)/sqrt(14)
=2sqrt(14)sqrt(9)/sqrt(14)
=2sqrt(9)=2(3)=6

sqrt(12)+7sqrt(27)=
sqrt(4)sqrt(3)+7sqrt(9)sqrt(3)
=2sqrt(3)+21sqrt(3)=23sqrt(3)

1. sqrt(50)/9 = sqrt(25*2)/9 =5*sqrt(2)/9

2. -2sqrt(10)*sqrt(8) = -2*sqrt(80) = -2*sqrt(5*16) = -8*sqrt(5)

3. 2sqrt(126)/sqrt(14)=2*sqrt(126... =2*sqrt(9)=6

4. -sqrt(189) = -sqrt(3*9*7)=-3*sqrt(21)

5. 4sqrt(6)+3sqrt(2)/sqrt(6) = 4 sqrt(6)+3sqrt(2/6)=4sqrt(6)+3/... =4sqrt(6)+sqrt(3)

6. 3 + 2sqrt(7)/sqrt(7) = 5

7. sqrt(8) -15sqrt(2) = 2sqrt(2)-15sqrt(2)=-13sqrt(2)

8. sqrt(12)+7sqrt(27) = sqrt(3*4)+7sqrt(9*3) = 2sqrt(3)+3sqrt(3) =5 sqrt(3)

9. -3sqrt(2)+sqrt(18) = -3sqrt(2)+sqrt(9*2) = 0

Note I factor numbers into perfect squares times another integer and the take the square root of the perfect square.
