i recently had sugery to remove one of these and 7 yrs later the pains are returning- is there a possibility the cysts have returned?

the thing is i dont have severe pains in my stomach or belly like normal ppl with this problem. I have the pains in my back. The doctors said the cyst put pressure on my spine nd caused me to develop scoliosis which was the reason for the excruciating back pains. After that had been removed my back pains ceased until recently, so now i'm wondering, though i have no belly pains, whether these horrible back pains can be the result of anothe cyst. What do you all advise?

I had my first pap at 15. That's when I found out that I have ovarian cysts. I have always had them and I probably always will. I have just been lucky enough to have them decrease in size or burst inside..and boy does that hurt! My doc said that there was nothing they could do for me except give me a script for pain meds. I passed. But maybe you should go in for an exam. I hope you have not skipped any. You may have another or may be dealing with more serious problems. Good luck. I hope everything turns out ok.

Most definately. Thats the problem with cysts. You can remove them and they can always return.

Unfortunately, yes they can return. I suffer from poly cysts. I always have them and occasionally one will get very large and burst. It is horrific pain.
