Hmmm, I never heard the "Diana" song! Don't know all of his tunes, but I really like his voice, and "Kern River" is a favorite. Also I like "That's the way Love Goes." I associate the song "The Streets of Bakersfield" with Haggard, but actually it was by Dwight Yokum and Buck Owens. Being originally from So. Ca, I am familiar with Highway 99 and the area described in the songs. They are timeless classics.
