No, it's not healthy. Cheating is a disease that kills a marriage and any love and respect from the partner.

Cheating makes a coward of the person doing the cheating.

No. It's hurtful and selfish. If a person isn't ready or able to commit to the person he or she is supposed to love deeply, then why marry that person in the first place?

A question back for you: Would you think it was healthy if your significant other cheated on you?

not healthy for many reasons. says a lot about the lack of commitment in the relationship. keeps you from addressing real problems, as you just run to someone else for temporary satisfaction. can pose medical risks with the number of diseases running around out there.

if you're already at the point where you have no interest in your spouse and are looking for others, just end the marriage. that pain is better than ruining someone's life long term by keeping them in "jail"...meaning they're stuck in a love-less marriage to somone sleeping with anyone but them, keeping them from finding a better mate to grow old with.

No but people cheat anyway! Why I don't know. Maybe its the chase there after or the age and want to see if there still attractive, or maybe they're just not getting any at home no matter what they try!

Not in the U.S.of A. I hear in some other countries people cheat and its almost expected. Take for example the guy that was just elected in France. Everyone knew about his girlfriend but he got elected anyway. How many U.S. prez candidates would have a snowballs chance if they had a girlfriend on the side. I think cheating has a lot to do with culture and in our culture is not acceptable.

Polygamy is so frowned upon these days and there is no good solid social basis for that requirement. I blame the Government for it.... stupid laws.

People go into marriage carrying too many expectations. Don't think for a minute I don't love my wife with all my heart but some people I just want to have sex with and why shouldn't I?

Group sex is hip. Pity we are conditioned to feel that marriage implies some form of ownership and thus group sex crosses the boundaries of expectations. Now a Yahoo! Answers Marriage - - Pluralists abound. My Beauty, My Love.

It is NEVER healthy to cheat while in a relationship. As a matter of fact, it's extremely detrimental to your relationship.
