I'm talking about a book, and I'm trying to think of a word that fits here:
How could this book, that I've been _______ about not be my favourite?
So I need a word to fill in the blank. I was thinking about raving, but that's not right. Help? Thanks!

"about" denotes 'almost,' so I would drop that word for a more positive statement to show you are right there, instead of being 'about' or close to being there.

...something like... "I have been engrossed in this book ever since the first page."

Endorsing (just take out the word "about" in your question).

Otherwise put in "raving" and leave the about.

"praising" (remove 'about"')
"going on about"
"complimenting" (remove 'about')
"paying tribute to" (remove 'about')

Also, take out the comma; your sentence doesn't need a comma.
