I have two cocktails and they mess up there water all the time. I don't know what to do? I have to change there water all the time.
In addition, i have one male and one female. I want to have babies and i put a nesting box in there cage. They go in it but they don't make a nest. I have tried to do this 2 times but no babies. They lay eggs but they are not fettle. I need help?????

They make a water bottle for birds. It's a good clean way to get them fresh water. It looks kind of like those water bottles they put in hamster cages, but a little different. It sometimes takes the birds a little time to get used to the new watering system, but cockatiels usually adapt pretty well.
As far as the mating thing, are you sure you have a male and a female? It is possible you have 2 females, or you have an infertile male. If he is too young, or she is too young their eggs will be no good. It also takes time for them to get comfortable enough to have real eggs. They don't always do it right! Do they throw the bad eggs out of the nest?

Q: Did you put things in there that they can build a nest with usually leaves, twigs, ETC.
Second i don't know if you want to spend the money but they have those kits you know that are used to make one breed with another, using hormones. O yeah and are they opposite sexes?

did you put bedding in the cage ?? if you didnt you neeed to, and you can buy theses water holders at walmart or a pet store , they have a screw on them and you just put it through the wire and put the back on and it will stay!
