im tinkin' bout em. sometimes i want extra space beyond my bookbag. i don't NEED it but i want somtimes. more convienience. but will i look like a loser nerd in the process? that is not a sacrifice i am willing to make!!!

I have had bags on almost every bike I have owned.
If you get something that looks good it is not bad, check out Rider magazine, they did a arcticle on settign a Gixxer up for sport touring.
My personal choice though is Givi www.givi.it hard luggage.
I have had my bike knocked over in a parkinglot and they are fine.

No matter what bike you ride there is always a tradeoff between comfort and cool. You need to decide which is more important to you because you can't have both.

Tankbags give you a place to put your rainsuit & extra gloves without hurting the 'cool` factor much.
