His father wasn't actually a Muslim. His father was an ex-Muslim Atheist who quit the Islamic faith because he intellectually disagreed with what he considered its tendency towards "superstition". His mother was an Agnostic. He spent a big part of his raising under the care of his Christian grandparents.

No--Obama is a Christian--specifically, a Congregationalist.
You will see a lot of the neocons/religious right saying Obama is Muslim. They are under the delusion other Amricans are as bigoted and racist as they are and so hope to spear him.
