I'm looking for hynotherapy places in Michigan, preferably close in Lansing, maybe someone who specializes in getting rid of fears.

I'm also looking for testimonials to the effect of hypnotherapy. After an incident on a plane a few years back, I'm terrified of flying, to the point where I cry thinking about it.

Has anyone had hypnotherapy for a problem like this and did it work?

Hypnotherapy is probably one of the best ways to cure a phobia.
Your phobia has probably got a name, have a look at this list of phobias

There is little evidence to support the efficacy of hypnotherapy for anxiety disorders. I would only encourage further pursuit of that method if you've already tried at least 2 therapists who know how to use psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral and exposure therapy in combination with one another to treat a specific phobia such as flying.

Hypnotherapy didn't help my friends serious anixety problem much and she did it for a year. She still has the same problems although they did improve slightly.
