Your best bet is to spray insecticide around the exits of your home, all window and outer doors. As soon as it wears off, insects will find their way back so it must be reapplied periodically to keep them away. Spider traps can be placed by the baseboards in the vicinity of doors that open to the outside, to catch the ones that make it inside. If the task of exterminating is too much, think about the fact that you are never more than 8 ft. away from a spider anyway so just relax.

You need to find where the spiders are coming into your home (usually outside). Then spray a residual "9 month insecticide" outside around windows, edges of window screens, on door jambs, under door sills, on and around air vents, etc..
Spectracide's "Bug Stop Indoor & Outdoor Insect Control
" not only kills spiders but more importantly it repels them. It stops them from coming into your home in the first place.
Don't touch the pesticide (use gloves) or breath the vapor when spraying. Also, don't spray in areas where your pets may come into contact with it.
Available at all home centers.

ditto that on the moth balls. Also put them under your house if you can... And in the attic. Anywhere the spiders might be getting in. Another thing to consider is that your spray may have worked but more spiders hatched after the fact. Try spraying again.

The best method of fighting spiders is to target their food sources. Spiders are predators, and the size of their population is directly proportional to the amount of available food. Take a good look around your home and a good look back into your memory - what other insects are found in your home? You must work to reduce these in order to reduce the number of spiders.
If you insist on simply killing the spiders, focus near the floor and look in stacks of papers and piles of things, closet floors, clothing and bedding that is in contact with the floor, underneath cabinets and in corners. Spiders will nest in dark, undisturbed places so look anywhere that fits that description.

I know that you can get ant traps; maybe you can find something at the store like that but for spiders. You could also try using a different brand of that spray stuff.

you need to use an arachniscide since spiders are arachnids. The chemicals yu are using may not be effective n killing the eggs. Keeping the area clean and sanitized also helps. A professional service may have to be considered.

Spiders go where there is a food source, which means bugs. Instead of trying to get rid of them, let them do their job and when all the bugs are gone they will move on or die.

who kills spiders? that's silly.
try to coexist.
what's causing the spiders to be there? often it's an open window with a light on at night. spiders will come in to set up traps for bugs.
learn what's attracting the spiders and change the scene.
but, just do try to get along. if you kill spiders, and a spider bites you, you can't say you didn't deserve it.

Check the web (no pun intended) for more ways. I googled "kill spiders"
Also lemon scented pledge seems to work too.
