I'm just asking. I've watched old movies with aliens who have psychic powers and all this stuff. I would think there is a slight chance. We still have SO MUCH to learn about the human brain...

At the very least, the brain has the capacity to change the way it perceives its surroundings. The brain's perceptions of space and time, therefore, are in fact quite mutable.

You know this is one of the most intriguing subjects to date.....the brain. There is still so much that we don't know about it and we are barely at it's peak. But you can say conclusively that the brain does more that we can ever imagine.

I think one of the most perplexing facts about the brain that it literally is one of the main sources in the human body. It helps us protect ourselves, rejuvenate, store memory, learn abilities, adapt, etc. It just does so much that we are barely finding it's roots and functions. It is in fact our processor.

PS: In order to get an answer to this question we need to wait another 50 years or so. With science and medicine evolving, there's no telling what the future may hold for us. Whether is the fact that ESP(Extra-Sensory Perception) may exist or someone having psychic powers(allegedly), there is still a number of research left to suggest that such phenoma may exist or not.....

Not outside of the confines of itself.

You watch movies with aliens? Do they like popcorn?

No (just my opinion). All such acts still cannot be strictly confirmed. Even Yuri Gellar. Remember, you are watching "fiction". Most everything you see on TV and movies are stories.

i think so.....we've invented spaceships and other things which a thousand years-or-so ago seemed impossible...... maybe in another thousand years-or-so from now our brains would come up with an idea on how to do just that.....if the earth lives long enough, that is........
