I have never timed it, but my signature is like very bad cursive and usually isn't the same.

about 3-4 seconds, though my name might be a bit shorter than 'republican and proud' (just kidding, though, my name isn't a long one) i have a unique way of signing my name, though, using some letter forms not common to the united states ( i had some european teachers, back in the day). it's simple, but hard to copy.

6 seconds for mine.
It's basically my first and last name written in cursive all together.
I put the capital E in curves then scribble the v-a-n in.
Then I do the capital S then the loops and circles for the rest of my last name. Then I cross the T and dot the i.

It depends on my mood really, but five seconds is a good amount of time. I never write the same way twice, do not know why just don't.

my signature is only a swirl and that it, probably 1 tenth of a second because I can not do cursive, or handwriting, accually i dont do any writing anymore not with my handy dandy computer keyboard, its all hunt and peck or smash and grab! (wait, that is for another answer, sorry). but you get the point....aaaa?
