You are probably right. Red is for communism, democrats are more socialist than communist but maybe the best color for liberals is yellow.

Why?
Republicans. Red stands for courage. Many men and women have had the courage to stand up and fight for our country. They have defended our country against our enemies and many have died in the service of our country.
Republican usually support the troups openly.
Democrats. Blue stands for justice. When we pledge allegiance to the flag, we end with the words: "With liberty and justice for all." That means that in our country, everyone should be treated fairly and with respect.
Democrats usually freedom of speech, freedom of expression
White is purity. Purity means to do what is right. We hope and pray that our country will always stand for what is right.
Only problem is white alone means surrender. That is why neither side takes it. Usually.

No. Republicans are the new liberals which is why their red. The Democrats are anti-Americans which is why their states are blue because we all wish they would just sink in to the ocean.

never thought of it before but it does seem backwards now that you mention it -- Republican states should be blue -- maybe democrat states should be green

In terms of astronomy, red is much cooler and visible than blue. We are also larger ;)

so true in one aspect as the left are Communist and the right is true blue
But on the other hand the Right has heart and the left is blue like a corpse no life.
So we have mix.

Red = debt and Republicans for war spending
