Smokers usually blow their smoke down when theyre lying or have some negativity going on in their mind.
Positive and confident people blow their ciggy smoke straight up.
A liars voice drops in pitch
They avoid eye contact
They might shuffle their feet nervously
Eyes can look down and to the left (or is it the right?)
Hand comes up momentarily to cover the mouth (as if to stop the lie coming out)
Nervous laughter can be a clue?
Crossed arms means defensiveness or unwillingness to listen to you or could be an attempt to be economical with the truth.
Then again there are the conmen types who actually believe everything theyre lying to you about, they can come right up to your face and lie while staring you in the eyes, theyre good at what they do (which is lying). Others try to downplay their secrets by making a joke out of it , while others still have no need to lie, coz theyre dead boring and have nothing to hide, so are completely honest all the time.

I used to know 90% of the time when my
kids were lying to me. 1)watch the eyes-
closely. They won't look directly into
your eyes. the eyes will shift around.
if theie pupils are dilated in a normally
lit room-they are on drugs.
2)If they are sitting--they shift around.
they shake their knee, or move around.
3) Have them repeat exactly what
they said before. They won't be able
to remember exactly what they said.
4) Just say, "I KNOW you are ly ing to
me, why not tell the truth now"?

when the person does not give you direct eye contact when they are talking to you, or they keep looking down or some where else you know something is up, and you should watch very closely to the eye contact. it reveals allot about a persons
character and morals.
another thing to look for is, if when people are talking to you and they cant keep their story stright they are lying.

unlike me.. im an expert lier SHHHH dont tell my wife..

Watch the eyes, hands and look for sweat.. most liers have a hard time stayn "cool" and flop there hands around more so than someone who is just talking. eyes well wonder face becomes a tad red sweat starts to show just above the eyebrows. Number of things actualy. just pay attention ask things that wouldnt cause them to lie then ask things you feel they may lie about and pay attention to there movement

Usually the most important thing is they won't look you in the eye.
The way I busted my ex (who was a private eye....honestly), was I went by my instincts and if I had a bad feeling, I checked into things. And I was always right, that's why he's my "ex".....true story!
Always follow your gut feeling :)

Looking to their left, as it is the creative side of the brain. Other than that, you just really have to know the person because they express themselves different ways.
