For chain restaurants, my money is on Chili's. But the best cheeseburgers out there are really at little hole-in-the-wall, mom and pop places.

If you are ever in Charleston, SC you have to go to Roberts and get a cheeseburger basket. The burger is the best I have ever eaten and "the basket" is onion rings and fries. The onion rings...ooolala.

I saw this place called The Counter on the Food network, it looks amazing. Apparently there are some 300000 ways to customize your burger to your liking. It's located in Santa Monica California.

If you live in either California, Nevada, or Arizona, buy some In-N-Out. best stuff in the world.
they prepare the food while you watch so you know what they're doing unlike at McDonalds.
and In-N-Out is probably the healthiest place to get fastfood.

I do since I cook them with good meat and real cheese and fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Since cost is no object for home cooking, fast food places can't compete.
