I think you will have a decent shot at getting in -- providing you also have decent SAT scores, etc.

Being biracial may help you get aid at USC and Johns Hopkins -- because they are private schools. It will not help at UCLA, as California law prohibits state universities from taking race into consideration for either admission or aid.

If you do not get a scholarship, other aid will be available. You would be better off going to a school like one of those with student loans than going to a school liek a CSU without loans -- because your future earnings will be greater.

If you have some special talent which would earn you a scholarship, maybe, but no for an academic scholarship. If you had a 4.0 for the next two years, you would still have less than a 3.7 overall, and these are exceedingly competitive schools. While you may be able to get in under the circumstances, you are unlikely to get a scholarship (most people grossly overestimate the percentage of students who get full scholarships. It is usually something like 2% of students, as I recall, so you really need to be exceptional to rely on this.

That depends. What else makes you stand out besides being a decent student? College has become so competitive that you will need more than a 4.0 to make some of the better colleges interested. Diversity is important - and that means more than just the color of your skin. What else can you bring to the university besides an A or B?
