the NYT did one and couldn't believe their results so they repeated it and it came out the same. Dissatisfaction of the war is going down in spite of their efforts to undermine it.

I already saw that - but it's well within (<2%) the +-3% error inherent in all polls. Means exactly zippo honey. I suppose that's why you didn't provide a link huh?

*Can't copy/paste the NYTimes? What's this then?;

WASHINGTON, July 26 — The dispute over the truthfulness of Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales reached a new intensity today as the F.B.I. Director, Robert S. Mueller 3rd, contradicted Mr. Gonzales’s sworn testimony before a Senate committee.

Mr. Mueller told the House Judiciary Committee that the Bush administration’s secret eavesdropping program was the main topic at an encounter in the hospital room of then-Attorney General John Ashcroft on March 10, 2004, contrary to what Mr. Gonzales told a Senate panel on Tuesday.

Ooooooooooh, support for the debacle in Iraq has gone up two points in the last month. It still only has the support of one in four Americans.

That isn't really anything to talk about now is it and Bush is the only one undermining the efforts in Iraq by trying to make it a never ending war.

Libs only love the polls when they're in their favor. Success in Iraq means failure for them.

I see that Whiney_Con Bastards has a new ID. It's nineteen_questions. You'd think that a smart federal agent could come up with some new ammo, but it's always the same, "Why aren't you fighting in Iraq" What a loser.

As someone else said, I'd appreciate a link to these polls. It's not that I doubt you're telling the truth, but more often then not in cases like these, the secondary source leaves something out.

Because it shows that a lot more people support the war and Democrats don't like that information.

Why don't you provide a link so we can look at it and then comment?
If you want comment on a poll the least you can do is provide a link to it. (see the way I do)
Paul Foster - we do not ignore them - I have answered them many times. Yes Congress has low support - this is not unusual but I would suggest does represent a dissatisfaction with the inability of congress to overcome Bush's veto pen on the matters they were elected to resolve.
More to the point - why do cons who love to talk about congress approval as if congress is made up entirely of Dems ignore the fact that approval for Congressional republicans is lower than that for congressional dems

It was when Bush mentioned "Al Qaeda" in a speech 100+ times in 30 mins. When he gets on a roll like that, it puts stupid people into a trance.
EDIT: Can't argue with that lol
Thank god i'm Canadian and immunized against american politics

The war was a good idea. Only problem is, after Sadam they should've went next store and leveled Iran. Personally, I think they oughta bring home our troops, and just nuke Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan. They all like blowing things up anyway, so,, might as well let them watch a HUGE explosion, up close.

Hmmmm so only 69% of Americans are against it now? Let me know when it gets under 50%. I will call that a majority.
