Well, it sounds a little expensive, but, buying a Houseboat cost even more. If, it something you really want to do, I would go for it.
Story time. We took my niece to Canada for her Graduation years ago. I planned our route and found things to do along the way and Reserved Hotels. We went everywhere from Oklahoma to Canada and back down through Washington State. The Blue car was Brown from dirt. Stopped at a car wash that do it for you and it took 5 people two times through to clean the car and one guy was still trying to get some road tar off a fender when we said it be OK. Anyway at Glacier International Park I reserved a Helicopter Sight Tour for my niece and myself. It was expensive, but, it was a once in a lifetime deal, do it or one day wish we had. It was well worth the money and when we returned we got my Mother to go with the next trip which happened to have an open seat. ;-)

Value is defined as what someone is willing to pay for something. What might be worth it to me may not be worth it to you.

But if you are talking about renting the boat for three days for 1275 total, it's probably just a little high. If it's 1275 per person it's crazy high. If it comes with a captain at 1275 total, it's a fair price.

The location has a lot to do with the cost..and the extras, what is not included in the price...how far will you float ...cost of fuel..gal/hour
If you stock-up the frig ..find a quiet cove to drop anchor..find 5 friends to split the cost..it won't be too bad

It's a lot more than I would pay.
