No, but I certainly would be suspicious.

In a way, I wouldn't be. You would think that if this guy was about to pull off a terrorist act, the last thing he would want to do is to start chanting "Allah Akbar" or some other phrase that might give him away before he is ready.
However, its easy to type this answer in the comfort of my own home, which is not 30,000 feet in the air.

I'd elbow him and ask him to be quiet and what does that mean anyway .....
Then I'd offer him some of those awful peanuts they hand out -
Then as a matter of habit I'd try to flag down the stewadess and buy beer - I have never flown sober and I have no intention of starting now

I say the Lord's Prayer every time before I a plane I'm on takes off precisely because I'm already afraid for my life.
I wouldn't worry about the prayers of the guy next to me.

Yes. Just as I'd be scared if I were sitting next to Steve Buscemi singing "He's Got the Whole World In His Hands."
Hello?

Damned right!.......maybe put makeup and lipstick on him when he's sleeping....paint his nails.....whisper the Lord's Prayer a few times in his ear, say a few Hail Mary's, play hide the pack of roasted peanuts in his turban...I could go on and on

I would be nervous. I won't lie. Yes, I'd be scared and a little on edge. I doubt he'll do anything, but I'll be a bit paranoid til we land.

Why would I? If he was a terrorist he would be fighting us in Iraq (apparently our presence there is what prevents them from coming here), his phone would have been illegally tapped so they could catch him and lock him up in Gitmo (even if they had no evidence against him as we wouldn't need to tell him what evidence we have), he wouldn't have anything dangerous that he could use to hijack the plane such as bottled water or plastic cutlery, and he wouldn't want to attack us as we are proving ourselves not to be weak by continuing to kill more civilians than enemy in Iraq.
Unless you are really telling me that everything Bush has done to protect us doesn't really protect us???

i would probably ask the flight attendant if i could move, since this person and their behavior would make me uncomfortable. if i could have a different seat, great. if they were removed from the plane, great. if it's all a mistake, gee, so sorry. if i had to remain there, next to them, i'd make sure to make them as uncomfortable as they made me, nothing illegal, but, i guess they'd like being next to me less than i'd like being next to them.

Maybe he's scared. Flying in a plane can be scary. I'd offer him my teddy bear.
