Your grammar (grammar has two A's in it) is not correct. You don't put the word 'AN' in front of a word that starts with a consonant. The word 'AND' between 'Qualye' and 'Idiot', should be the word 'AN'. Plus, you need a comma after 'idiot', and your second sentence is a run on sentence.
Your sentence, "My grammer is correct its an instead of a dummy." Makes no sense. Another run on sentence.
As for Quayle. Just because he couldn't spell a word or two, does not make him an idiot. Just means that he's not the best at spelling.

No your grammar is wrong, the question should be.
Was Dan Quayle *an* (not and) idiot.
Dan Quayle was very intelligent, at the spelling bee, he was told that in that part of the country potato was spelled potatoe which in truth if it ended with an 's' would be plural.
When Quayle was debating Al Gore and Al was talking about tax increases for the rich he (Al) quoted a figure which Quayle immediately disputed and spit out the various increases at each income rate and proceeded to tell Gore that in order to raise the amount of money they were talking about they would have to raise the taxes on every person that made over $30,000 per year.
You may not be old enough to remember but Dan Quayle was right on target and that is exactly what Clinton/ Gore did, I suppose that they thought that a person that makes $30,000 a year is rich.
I would have no problem with Dan running as President, he is better that any of the current candidates on both sides of the political fence.

You say potato, I say potatoe. The Quayle affair was political hackery at it's finest. It is incidents like that and people's love of them that has made it impossible to have a civilized debate on issues anymore. The political scene has just become like a game of schoolyard one upsmanship. "So's your old man".

Lets see he was a republican right. The media will always say they are dumb. Regan was too old , Bush was a wimp and out of touch, Quayle to young and dumb. Bush JR is an Idoit, Nixxon was dumb, ford was clumsy .
See a trend?
