Has anyone ever heard of a stream or river where people take their children (mainly) their daughters to?

I had a dream the other night and now I can't get it out of my head. All the little girls were dressed in spring dresses, you know the kind christian girls wear for easter. It looked like they were going to get blessed or something.

Sounds to me like the river was symbolic of sexuality, and the ritual was a coming-of-age ritual.
