This song was popular in the 50's, I think. The lead singer is a man and he sounds like he has a black accent. Do you know who he was or could it have been a group? Did they ever make a C.D. with this song on it? I love all that old 50's music, but this song is super great.

There's "In The Still Of The Night" by Dion and the Belmonts (1960 or so) and "In The Still Of The Nite" by the Five Satins (mid to late '50's)
