Can't we just stop this self-destructive cycle next November. I really don't even care who (ok except Edwards and Obama and Guiliani) but lets just stop this endless cycle of addiction. I don't like monarchies why does it seem like we have one so much?

Many people are coming around to the Bush Clinton Crime SyndicateHere's a message I got from a good friend today who is paralyzed from a car accident God bless her.

She thinks that Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the Dems are going to save her.. They cannot get past the silly party line. I think these messages speak volumes about the ignorance we're up against (keep in mind the poor girl is paralyzed):

"again...you need 2/3 vote to override a veto, and i'm with you on democtats not being able to stop the war, but they are not the ones that got us into the mess. Colin Powell has already stated that he is already met with Barack Obama and he is pissed off on how he was used to present the case to the United Nations to go to war. As far as Obama is concerned, he has already had to have Secret Service follow hin because of the death threats made on his life. It's unfortunate but we do live in a racist world.

so you're a republican now...looks like you're not for helping me get the stem cell bill passed .
btw...rosie o'donnell contributed to Hillary Clinton's campaign already and surprisingly, Adam Sandler contributed to Giuliani's!

Ron Paul has been my favorite since the first republican debate on that side but i'd never vote for a republican, but he will not win the republican ticket and that is why we must unite as Democrats to bring change to this country...have you listened to anything Al Gore has said?

Ron Paul has also stated that he is pretty much not a Republican, and I understand that has been a Libertarian in the past, but he is still running under the Republican ticket.

And yes, I already knew that Ron Paul voted against the stem cell bill and the only way the bill is going to pass is if more Democrats are in Congress to override a presidential veto if God forbid a Republican is voted president.

sorry...dear senator is the one you need to look at"

You're right, enough is enough. If Clinton wins the election that means that either a Bush or a Clinton has been in office for the past 20 years.

The devil is in the details.

I think you'd get a lot of support, particularly from Republicans, about breaking the Bush/Clinton cycle this time around. The only problem is "who will break the cycle"?

I think it makes things simpler for the people who are really in power to know that their spokesman (inc Hillary) has one of two surnames whatever year it is.
It would be nice if they could get that Jethro Bush to run against those Dukes of Hazard boys this time, surely even they can read a cue card better than Hill.

Agree completely with your point. There is no way such a pattern is good for democracy or for the American identity, domestically or globally. Such a pattern is the culmination of the brand-name mentality that defines our consumerism and, now, our politics. Issues mean literally nothing in our current context.

No, I want to see a Constitutional Amendment, that excludes family members from running for President. This way we stay a democracy and not an aristocracy.

Family members excluded from being President will still be able to brag about being related to said President.
