It is the motion of the ocean and if you know how to paddle. The boat size doesn't matter unless the boat is too big. Then no amount of good motion will be pleasure.

It's both.
Anyone that says the size of the boat doesn't matter, either has a small boat or has ridden in a small boat and never experienced a nice luxury cruise. You need size and a nice large open sea to have a great experience!
