OK, so I have dated this girl, "Samantha", for about 1yr and 4 months. I bought her a diamond ring set in white gold. I'm sick of her attitude, and we've already been through this, a few times. We've tried and tried, but it just won't work, unless she can change her attitude. That won't happen. Anyway, there is this other girl I've been somewhat interested in for awhile. We're good friends, but there's alway been that little bit extra. Well, "Samantha" and I are broke up. So this other girl, "Michelle", and I were hangin out today. We decided to head over to her place. Played around for a little bit, and as we were laying in bed almost naked, both of us wanted "it", so much. I didn't want to do something I'd regret later. Now I'm sitting here, and I can't stop thinking about it. She can't stop either. "Samantha" and I broke up not even a week ago. I want "Michelle". But i don't want to hurt "Samantha" again. I love her so much, more than anything. I fear nothing can help?

You may love "Samantha", but you're in love with the person you want her to be, not the person she is.

Move on. Granted "Michelle" may be the transitional girlfriend, so you need to tell her that, while you're interested in her physically, you're not able to jump into another serious monogamous relationship seeing as you are still getting over "Samantha". Furthermore, you don't want to jeopardize your friendship (but, seeing as how you've seen each other practically naked, may be hard). If you can both come to a mutual understanding, no one gets hurt.

As far as "Samantha", once you're broken up, all bets are off. You can do whatever and whomever you want, no strings attached.

My dear brother, do you have intentions of going back to be with Samantha? If you do, its time you go. If you don't it's time you flow. Again instead of wasting time thinking about what to do. You should be seeking medication for you sickness of Samantha's attitude or playing around and getting naked some more with Michelle.

Sounds like a rebound thing to me, since it's been such a short time. But, crazier things have happened - occasionally rebounds turn into more. I'd say not to do anything with "Michelle" unless you're sure you won't regret it. It's not fair to either of you to start anything when you're not 100% sure what you want. I don't think that hurting "Samantha" needs to be your main concern anymore - you've broken up now, so unless you're planning to get back together one day, which you said is unlikley, you can't live your life worried about hurting her.

Look you like Michelle so go for her. You and samantha are broken up, so she will have to accept it. Or you go back to Samantha and really try to work things out, talk about whats wrong, just remember its not one persons fault. It needs a bit of give and take.

good luck

Uh-oh! That's bad. Um...well, most people say follow your heart. But...who is more true to you? Michelle or Samantha? It's a close call...

Grow up....You sound shallow to me. You don't love Smantha if your lusting after Michelle. Sounds to me you need some breathing room..Have you hear of the word respect?
