Why are you so against business?

Don't you understand that commerce is among the "blessings of liberty" promised in the Constitution?

Which business do you know that desire to remain small?

What does "new direction" mean...everybody works a minimal amount...like you...and you get to take money from people who work hard?

How would you pay for elections...by taking everybody's money?

What would you do about groups of people...large groups of people...who want to pool their efforts in support of a candidate...are they only legal in your eyes if they support your anti business rant?

Okay I don't usually respond to fellow answerers, but. . . Neenie, how much do you think the carpets and the upholstery needed to be cleaned after Bill left office?

Oh and how about the DEVASTATION of the Stock Market in 2000? Or do you mean that the Stock Market doing well is bad? Because it's been breaking records left and right. Yeah, we need a complete overhaul there.

Did you see the YouTube debates on CNN? I don't remember the candidate's name, but he called them ALL out on the same basis. He said something to the effect of "If you want to know what's going to happen after Clinton/Obama/Edwards gets elected just follow the money."

Unfortunately for Democrats (fortunately for myself being a Republican though) that's the way politics go these days. They need money to run. Probably more money now than ever. They claim to advocate for the hard working American. Mostly someone who makes less than 100,000 a year. Well, raising a family, paying for college, buying a home, etc. is EXPENSIVE. So, where do they go to get the kinds of funds to battle the Republicans? The same place the Republicans go, big business.

I completely agree with a regime change, though, not necessarily because I don't think Bush is qualified. These darn dems and libs are runnin him through the ringer, and I don't think he could handle another 4 even if he COULD run again.

Giuliani/Thompson 08!!!!

Anyone who is thinking of voting for Hillary should read the book "American Evita", by Christopher Andersen. I was horrified at the stuff I read in that book ! The things that go on in politics makes me sick, if you read this book you may never vote again !!!!!! I'm not even interested in politics, too many things go on that to me are nothing but lies, politicians learn how to manipulate people into thinking that their main concern is the people and how they feel about certain issues, and we all know that isn't true, and then talk about them behind their backs, and God forbid if anyone gets in their way, they learn to say what the people want to hear, read the book and you'll see what I mean, they don't mean half of the things that they say when their out campaigning, they just say whatever it takes to get the vote, and I know the things that are written in that book are true, or else she would be suing, I know I would if things like that were said about me and weren't true. You won't believe half of the things that are said when the voters aren't around, and a lot of white house staff heard these things, so it's not just one persons opinion. I had no intention of reading it but I ran out of books and someone gave it to me, and once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I felt that this book told the truth about what goes on behind those closed doors !!!!!!!!

It really is hard to find the right basis for mindlessly smearing Clinton isn't it?
Sometimes it is because she is an avowed communist
Others she is a bobbing cork with no ideaology other than to follow the polls
And now she is actually the slave of big business?

You might as well ask what candidate who stands a Chinaman's chance of being elected HASN'T been bought by "Big Business." Politics runs on money and if you think otherwise, you're living in denial.

I like Biden or Edwards and might just vote Independent if Clinton gets the ticket...For me it's not about belonging to a group with maximum clout, it's about fairness, rule of law, and caring about our children's future....Edwards is an idealist and Biden is a lawyer...either one is fine

She was in favor of the war, and her judgment can't be trusted. We need a new Dem in office, and I say it should be Obama.

I think Biden's gonna get the nomination. Remember last election, Kerry was behind a lot of others.
