Real time was of little or no consequence in the telling of an Elizabethan story on the stage, so there is no way we can tell how long they knew each other before they got married. It was not very long,obviously, as they fell in love at first sight and got married as soon as they could. Your answerers who think tjhey did not get married, did not read the play very closely.

Not long! They met one night at the Capulets party and they got married the next morning.

I do not believe they were ever officially married. but its been a few years since i read it in school either way, they only knew eachother about 3 days from the beginning, when they met, till the end, when they comitted suicide for eachother.
