does anyone attend there and if so can you give me some feed back to what it is like and the stuff to lokk forward to, and are there any bad qualities about humboldt state?

I have a cousin who went there and liked it a lot. Depending upon your preferences, the potential downside is that it is in the middle of nowhere - apparently a very attractive nowhere, but if you are used to urban settings and get bored without constant stimulation, it might be difficult to handle.

My son went there 2 years and loved it! It's one of the last hippie hangouts, and is a bit out of the way. It's a 7 hour drive from San Francisco, but there is a puddle-jumper airport with flights to and from SF. They have a lot of unusual majors and are highly conscious about the environment. Just don't stray too far into the redwood forests, as there are some very serious pot growers who use booby traps and guns to protect their crops!
