he is hacking and coughing, won't get up, and won't eat except for grass around him, please

You should also contact your vet immediately to have them take a look to see what is wrong.

The calf is or is not drinking the mothers milk? He may need some other vitamins but call the vet right away get the calf under care if possible if not you may just need to let nature take its course. God Bless!!

if hes bloated and has diarrhea he needs to be wormed quick!!!! if u dont hurry it will be too late also get a salt lick and molasses to encourage him to eat more but worm him asap and then wait a few days and do it again if it hasnt gone on to long he might have enough energy to recover also give him a shot of penicillin in case he has a cold
