I really think it's best to forgive and learn. Don't hold the wrong thing against your friend. Forgive them, but then realize their limitations, and deal with them that way.
Don't trust them with something, a secret maybe, that they just can't handle without telling. They may want to be a true friend and be good, but they just can only handle so much temptation. Learn this about your friends and don't make them handle more than they can.
That's why I say, forgive and learn.

that is an interesting question. i believe that you can not forgive without forgetting, but you can forget and forgive. some people would say that you should not forget so that you learn from your mistake or from the wrong that someone has done to you. But if you can't forget then you might keep that sorrow or anger inside yourself. So maybe you should learn the lesson, forgive the person, and forget the wrong.
