I prefer the term out-laws lol. I usually fain illness tell them you are highly infectious and best they stay away. Or if they persist in keep coming over be over friendly and keep offering them tea and push sandwiches, cakes biscuits etc in their faces. Talk about the most boring of issues and repeat yourself a lot. if all this fails then just tell them to fooook the hell off. OK none of these have worked for me as mine are so thick skinned they just don't get it lol

YUP I am an In Law to my Son in Law.
I know when my time is up because he gets so testy with every one including the grand kids I worship.
I leave so they do not suffer HIS wrath.
My daughter is NO nicer to Her in-laws, She keeps the kids from them. I think that $u(ks and I try to negotiate grandparent time when I can for them. The difference is I know my boundaries, and when to leave, they DO NOT.
But, I can see where we all invade their privacy, and question their parenting skills, because we did it and think that makes us experts on the subject.
Well.......O.K. I do bring fake dog poo,and water balloons also...
sorry, can't help it...I took the boys skydiving too!!!!!!!
Para-sailing is next, but don't tell my daughter O.K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The other grandparents do other irritating stuff, they support their drug addicted daughter, force her and her pubic hair reveling skirted self on the boys. While giving her Coach Bags, and the kids re-gifted stuff.
But, they are uneducated, I wish I could help more.
See that is the In / OUT law get in trouble MODE in overdrive...I want to help...But I should BUT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!
No I do not have a pest control for OUT LAWS, because I lice on both sides of that WORLD myself. and I am trying to balance it. hey how about understanding, works for ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try brick dust around the outside of your house. Evil will not be able to come in.
