Yes Shirley that is all perfectly normal. I remember that age and being so embarrassed to ask my mom for anything. Why can't you ask your sister??? Discharge is normal---as long as it is NOT FOUL (like it smells soooo bad you would wish to die)--because that would be a symptom of perhaps a yeast infection or something like that. Have you been sexually active yet???? Don't be offended---I am a teacher and I know how fast some girls AND BOYS are developing and " trying things out"--
if you are--this could be another explanation for the discharge. I have known some girls as young as 8 or 9 who began having periods--and I also know that some girls are much older. The "average" age is around 13 years----
If you want to contact me you may do so by adding me to your contacts and emailing me--I promise I will answer you!!
Good Luck---and there's really nothing to be embarrassed about. Your mother and sister know all about "this girly business" too. Or save your money and get them yourself.
You can even get panti-liners at Dollar Stores. If there is a strong smell with this--get deodorant ones---or put small amount of baby powder in liner or panties.

Discharge is normal in females and, yes, it does increase at times. Your discharge may be increasing because you are getting ready to get start your period or because you have excess bacteria in your vagina. This can happen from not wiping properly (front to back), or washing properly. It can also occur from residue that is left on clothing from detergent or fabric softener. As long as it isn't causing you any discomfort (itching, pain), it isn't a problem.

If the wetness really bothers you, is there anyway to just get some money from your mom or dad without specifically saying it is for panti-liners? The other option is to tell your mom but ask her to honor your request to keep this information between the two of you because what happens to your body is not the business of relatives or her friends.

I understand about the mother issue. My mom was the same way. lol. But the panty liner is your best bet. So, if you have any close friends that you could ask their parents to purchase them for you, then you wouldn't have to worry about your mom embarrassing you. If that wont work. try going to your school nurse. They have products in their office.

Because I don't know you....your background...yada yada yada...and I feel uncomfortable answering this online where sexual preditors are everywhere....I really can't say anything other than, you really DO need to talk to your mom about it. Don't be embarressed. If not her, then someone other woman that you trust and feel comfortable asking.
