Ok I just read in a form somone saying something about the alligations of Vick arn't fair. Is it because of his and mine color or of his families history of intaglments with the law. I don't understand why they are trying to get him in so much trouble.

The one wrestler killed his intire family and himself and no one is sueing. No one has taken action. The case with Vick seems to be bigger than the wrestlers. And he is white with no crime or murders in his record.

This is a personal thing with Vick.

He does something bad and the white folks think he thinks he is above the law

HE DOESN'T

You must understand this

Please hear me out and understand me

I think we should support and not go against

He might have had to do with dog killing. Im not going to say it isn't wrong but the wrestler kill humans and ppl dont seem to care

Give me a break. The doctor who gave Chris Benoit the steroids that were raging through his system when he massacred his family is being investigated. He faces charges. No one can sue Benoit himself because he is dead. They could sue his estate and I honestly think his wife's parents should.

If it is proven Vick knowingly participated in or was involved in the dog fighting he should be charged and do time. The dogs can't retaliate against him so us humans have to do it for them.

It's not because of race at all. It's because dog fighting is a terrible and serious crime and everyone involved in it should get caught and charged.

I disagree with you.For one there is no one to take any action against the wrestler because he is DEAD.What he did was wrong and that's that. They are implementing new drug testing for current and future wrestlers. What he did was a felony but who can you go after He is gone and he acted alone.Even his doctor was shocked that this happened.Vick is a superstar the 2nd most jersey sales for the NFL.Yes he is black,so am I.What he did is a felony. Are they going after him hard?Yes.He messed with mans best friend and he breed them to fight. He even personally killed one that I know of.He had 66 carcasses found on his property and he is the only one employed at the house.Who pays the bills.Color has nothing to do with this.He just being involved has broke several felonies in several states that's why the feds are involved.the reason people are coming down on him because the dogs were defense less..The feds rate dogfighting just under pedophiles. So ask yourself is it a black thing?NO it isn't.Pacman Jones is loving this story because he is an average player with great talent and yet,he continues to have strip club shootings and he isn't the most hated NFL player right now.Did you feel the same about Rae Carruth?

There are a few major differences between Michael Vick and Chris Benoit besides race.

First of all, the NFL has a much larger fan base and has much larger revenue than WWE. This is not to say WWE is not popular or it doesn't make a lot of money; it does.

Also, Michael Vick is simply a bigger star than Chris Benoit. And, Michael Vick is more tied into the NFL brand than Chris Benoit with jerseys and such. The negative situation surrounding Michael Vick is more detrimental for the NFL than the negative situation surrounding Chris Benoit, making it a bigger story for Vick in the eyes of the media. Add that pro-wrestling is not taken seriously and is not considered a sport, and Benoit is allowed to fade away by the media.

Because of this, the NFL stands to lose more money and advertising because of this situation Vick has found himself in. And, Vick's situation is flat out more of a media generating story than Benoit's.

True, non-humans are involved with Vick's situation, and Benoit killed human beings, but more people identify with Vick's situation because many people have dogs. The argument can be made that many people have wives and children, but we're more desensitized to wives and children being killed than dogs being bred to fight other dogs and killed by the owners if they lose. Simply put, dog-fighting is not a news story on the ticker everyday.

As for suing, Benoit's wife's family could probably sue Vince McMahon or the WWE in general, but there is no tangible evidence that McMahon or his company contributed to what Benoit did. Possibly, the doctor who prescribed the drug to Benoit could be sued by them as well, and they might be more successful there.

As for Vick being sued, he's alive, is an easy target, and there is even an organization (PETA) whose sole purpose is to prevent things like dog-fighting, making the situation more high profile. Also, there is evidence of dog-fighting on property Vick owns. He may not have been involved, but he has to take legal responsibility in the eyes of the court. Not much legal responsibility can be put on a person who has committed suicide.

Putting somebody in jail does two things:
It punishes the person who commited the crime
It protects society by preventing that person from commiting a crime against it.
The reason that animal abuse laws are so important is that people who will abuse and torture an innocent animal ,often go on to abusing , murdering and torturing innocent people.
I am not making this up.
100% of all serial killers have a history of animal abuse and a large percentage of violent criminals also began their careers by abusing animals first.
Federal prosecutors know this and it is their job to not only protect the dogs but more importantlly to protect society from the kind of sick mind that would do such a thing.

This has nothing to do with his race or any of his backgrounds, it's all in your head. Right now, we're under the investigation of a guy who assumably provided the setting, for these barbaric dog fightings to take place, even if he wasn't directly involved when any of these fightings took place.....Chris Benoit, did not torture his son and wife as an entertainment, and killed them like most of the guys involved in the dog fightings did.

I won't address race because I think it has been discussed ad-nauseum.

Here's what bothers me.

Athletes...white, black, brown, red and yellow...who have everything handed to them their entire lives; from passing grades 'cuz they can play football to millions of dollars 'cuz they can sink a basket. Then instead of realizing that they have been blessed feeling fortunate, they act like spoiled brats and think that they can do anything they like. To be fair, I can't totally blame them. I blame the parents and administrators who take advantage of their skills without teaching them right from wrong and refuse to hold them accountable for their actions. When something like the allegations against Vick happens, they are genuinely surprised at all the fuss because they aren't used to being forced to act like you and me.

That's what pisses me off. Society has created a group of sociopaths why really don't know right from wrong!

What Vick did was illegal, sick and twisted and he got caught. As far as the wrestler goes who the hell is going to sue over that?????????????? Your question makes no sense at all.

like someone stated the wrestler killed himself as well..so who's going to be sued? he was a coward and couldn't face the consequences of his actions.

as for vick he inhumanely killed those dogs..they were unable to defend themselves. those dogs didn't deserve to lose their life because of losing some damn fight. he gets whatever is coming to him and so does anyone else who tortures and/or kills an animal on purpose
