There are 11 states that refuse to enforce FEDERAL law with regard to marijuana. To claim possession is legal in those states is the same as claiming 'illegal aliens' are legal in 'sanctuary cities'.

oregon, Alaska, Maine, New York, North Carolina, Mississippi, Ohio, Nebraska, California, Nevada, and Colorodo, all these state have decriminalized marijuana.

there are several states in this bunch that only have it decriminalized for medical purposes.

Seems like New Mexico passed that and it went into effect just this week according to News on TV.
