man i didn't know so many ppl on here give so much BS answers.
i bet you if CR7 looked like Ribery half of his fanbase would diminish. ppl are shallow. look at Becks. he's not really an all around good player but he gets recognized mostly coz of his looks. so annoying. these girls can't straight up tell you that they would still like cr7 if he went thru wat Ribery did wen he grew up and had a scarred up face coming into the game.
and for the record i like Ribery more :P

If Cristiano looked like Ribery I might even love him even more. The fact that girls swoon over Ronaldo has sometimes made me step off a bit. But I have to learn to love him regardless of his looks and fangirls.

ribery got an car accident in childhood which left him with a scar.
he is innocent. without the scar, maybe ribery is handsome~~~
