The first two you mentioned sound like EP's so leave them out of the discussion. Go in this order.
Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes - Has the awesome track Third Season. This was about the time they started to turn darker.
Very Proud Of Ya - must have been fans of the Jerky Boys, they had greatness written all over them even while still sounding like the poor man's Offspring.
Answer That and Stay Fashionable - nice to have but not earth-shattering.
