i watch it last night.its a black and white movie.i didnt see the whole movie so i dont have all the details but the story is,theres a guy looking for a water for their long journey then he got into a place where he knew its 1961.but its really 1847

Were the guys in the army?

That sounds like an episode of the Twilight Zone I saw recently. It was a TV show in the late 50s and early 60s; it had all these weird stories with supernatural and science fiction stuff. It's old, but it's still good.
