i used to work in a pet store and sold a scorpion to a really dumb guy. he called later and said it stung him in the lip, what should he do. i guess that was pet kissing day?

Since they're YOUR PETS, and it's pet hugging day, why don't YOU hug them?
I'll stick with my cranky old elderly gerbils and my hamster. Much more cuddly.

no. I'm too busy petting my two doggies, two kitties, and trying to catch my two fish to hug them!
