I really don't think he is going to resign. I think we are in for special prosecutors and nasty public hearings. Maybe he will finally do it when there is absolutely no wiggle room left, but really I believe he will stick it out. What does it matter if he is convicted anyway? Bush has shown that he doesn't have a problem with perjurers in general. He proved this to me when he commuted Libby's sentence. I have no doubt he will do exactly the same for Gonzales once he is convicted.
