I was going to the mall with one of my friends and we took the bus. When he got on and saw I brought my messenger bag he said "Wow! Only girls and gays bring their messenger bags everywhere like you...". The whole way there we were arguing about this lol >_>. Anyways I was just wondering what you guys think about this?
I don't actually bring it everywhere... just to places where I need to. Like I brought it to the mall that day because I was trading in some games at EB Games (9 games) and I put them in the bag. Or sometimes if I go to a friends house and he/she wants to borrow a movie, game or book I might bring the bag depending how big what he wants to borrow is. I don't bring it if I'm going to a restaurant, or to clothing stores, parties, friends house (normally), etc. He just says I bring it everywhere cause I guess it's easier than being specific.

The original purpose for the bag was to carry binders and textbooks at school. It just happens to be useful for other things too.

I like the messenger bag first of all. I don't think it's gay that you carry it "everywhere" as your "friend" says, it is just different. It is easier than being specific. If you want to bring it to the mall, go ahead. Bring it wherever you feel like it if it has a purpose.

I think it's a normal thing to do - especially to carry extra stuff.
My sons carry backbacks or messenger bags almost everywhere - one is an artist, and they other is a student.
No GIRLS ever make comments about it!

That bag is fine if your carrying it for books to and from class but to take it to the mall is a no no.

nothing wrong with it, i carry mine everywhere. You can put what ever you need in them, helps out in alot of ways.
