I am moderate on some things, and firmly to the right on other things. I would have to agree that if Hillary is the Dems' candidate, I'll be voting against her more than anything. She will be useless as a wartime president; I would hate to have her in leadership while we're still in Iraq and Afghanistan. God help us.
I do not like Giulianni. He is Bill Clinton all over again, except for the little, meaningless (R) in front of his name when he's in the news. I don't trust him further than I could throw him.
I wish I could stand by McCain. I think he's a stand-up guy, but he comes off weak, weak, weak. I think he's too busy trying to put out fires. I think he'd end up the Republican version of John Kerry if he became the Republican candidate. I don't know which other Republican candidate I most like at this point. The GOP had better do something fast if they want to have a legitimate chance at all.
If we ended up with a Democratic president, I would hope it was Obama, rather than Hillary Clinton. I don't agree with a lot of his values, but I don't feel lied to when he talks, either. And his wife seems like a smart, well-spoken woman.

Out of the field today, I'll vote for either Obama or Rudy.
Being Fiscally conservative and socially more moderate to liberal, I favor Rudy to take care of the country in a way that will be proserous and humane.
I see Obama as having the most idealistic viewpoint and he would be my 2nd choice. Even though I don't agree with everything I hear from him, I'd be willing to give him a shot.
After that I think the quality drops off considerably. I think Clinton will just continue the status quo and is too poll driven to make any real changes. McCain is annoying. Not sure what to make of Fred Thompson. All I know is he's not Reagan. Stop trying to be him.
All the rest are has beens, never weres and "Why the frick are you even running"

I'm voting for Rudy. he is a proven leader, fiscally conservative, strong on national defense and can work with the other side since he was mayor in a very democratic city. I was originally going to vote for McCain in the primaries but, I don't agree with him on some of the things he has said. Also there is no passion when he is in the debates. I remember when he ran in 2000 he was a passionate common sense conservative and he brought a lot of positive energy I just don't think he has the same energy as he did in 2000.

I am a registered Republican, but I am ashamed of the Republican party & the administration that I voted for.
I want to see major change & honest leadership.
I want my rights restored.
I want to bring our troops home.
I want the IRS OUT of my life.
I want a Constitutional government again.
I will vote for Ron Paul in 2008.
He is the only one in the race who has proven over 20 years in Congress that he will only vote for my best interests.
He was against the war in Iraq from the get-go.
He has never voted for a tax increase.
never voted for an unbalanced budget.
never voted to raise Congressional pay.
never taken a government paid junket.
never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
he voted against regulating the internet.
he does not even participate in the lucrative congressional pension plan.
Ron Paul
Google him!

It is really to early to choose yet but to be honest I don't like any of them at this point. I am basically independent leaning to the right but until we have debates where they have to answer the question, which none of them ever do, I will have to vote for whoever is running against Hillary Rotten Clinton who looks like the front runner for the democrats. Peace
