Easy way to fix it is to buy insoles when your shoes get stretched too much. They are sold at every supermarket. Cut them to the shape that perfectly fits inside the shoe. Insoles will take up some space inside the shoe thus leaving less room for your foot to slide around.

When buying new shoes, pay more attention to how it fits, especially at the bottom of your foot. Poorly fitting shoes stretch faster.

Real leather always stretches. It may be a good idea to get a half size smaller. Man-made leather doesn't stretch as much.

If you can, buy them only a half-size smaller - a full size smaller and your feet will hurt sooo bad while you're breaking them in. Consider buying a shoe-stretcher so you don't have to go through the whole stretching process on your own feet.

smaller size or fins shoes that you can adjust more like a strap around the ankle or ones you wrap around and tie or something then just tighten them when you need too
