It probably just means she ovulated really late this cycle.

the line probably wouldn't show up right now even if she was pregnant. i took a test after 4 weeks of missing my period and the 2nd line was so light that i didn't even know for sure if i was, so i went to the local health deparment. they explained that since i was only about 4 weeks along that the pregnancy hormone was not very strong and it wasn't showing up well on the results. give her a couple of more days or weeks. 12 days late could be from stress or anything. having sex can also delay your period too. just wait a few more days and see if it comes. if not, then she might want to try another test and look HARD at the 2nd line.

Sometimes girl's cycles are just messed up!! I would recommend taking another test such as first response......first thing in the morning. Also, make sure that there is NO alcohol or medication in her system because that could make the test show up wrong. If it still shows up negative and she hasn't started in about a week, I'd take her to Planned Parenthood or her OBGYN.

I showed up positive on my 12th day late. It doesnt mean shes not pregnant. She should definantly go to the OBGYN.

sometimes the pregnancy hormone can take a while to show up in urine, and when it does show up the line will probally be really light

she could be pregnant. then again she could be irregular. Sometimez period is late because of stress
